Referee AssignmentAll game referees will be assigned by the NorCal Premier U-21 Referee Assignor, Peter Fletcher ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , 408-373-5601 cell). Please keep Peter’s contact information with you in case of any last minute changes or problems. Referees will be assigned to games which are listed on the NorCal website as having a confirmed date, field and game time. If any game information is missing, it will be assumed that the game is not yet confirmed, and no referees will be assigned. To expedite the process, feel free to email Peter once you have a confirmed game (but also send the information to the website). Whenever possible, have a firm game schedule two weeks before the game date. If your game CHANGES after having been listed, BE SURE TO EMAIL THE NEW INFORMATION to Peter (since changes on the website can be easily overlooked). Referee PaymentReferees will be paid at the field prior to the game by the home team. The referees will be at the field 45 minutes prior to game time. Payment is $55 for the referee and $35 for each of the two assistant referees. The referees must be paid before the game can start. Feedback on RefereesFeedback on referees is strongly encouraged, and the good news is just as important as the bad. We are making strong efforts to have good quality referees for this league, so we need to know how each referee performs. We can’t make things better unless we get feedback. Referee positions are designated as Referee, AR1 (bench side) and AR2 (opposite side).
