2007 U8/U9 Spring Rules of Play |

- All games will be 8 v 8 (7 and Goalie)
- Games will be two 20 min halves with 5 min break
- All games will be played on a U-10 size field
- Teams must be checked in 30 minutes prior to the first game
- All teams will need USCS rosters and passes at check-in
- All players will be checked only once prior to the first game then passes and roster will not be needed for the rest of the day.
- Scores will be posted on a scoreboard for information only
- All games will be controlled by the timer at the registration booth and the air horn will sound for the half, and the end of play.
- There will be one referee and a parent from each team to do sidelines.
- Hand balls will be enforced.
- All throw-ins must be done correctly or it will result in a turn over.
- Penalty kicks will be allowed.
- All major and technical fouls will be enforced resulting in direct free kick or indirect free kick as appropriate.
- Offside will be enforced.
- Either team may substitute on any stoppage, subject to the referee’s approval.
- You must move quickly off the field so the next game can begin and keep everyone on schedule.
- Referees, while respecting the Laws of the Game, will do their best to keep the game flowing, simple and fun.
