Norcal Premier Soccer Coaches Education Hello, Presenting Pepijn Lijnders - Skills Coach for PSV Eindhoven We would like to invite every club to send at least one coach to this soccer clinic. The clinic is paid for by Norcal Premier Soccer and hosted by Danville Mustang. Pepijn is the Skills Coach for Dutch Club PSV Eindhoven. He is widely recognized as one of the top skills instructors in Holland. He will run our PDP Players through a session of dribbling drills and small sided games. The aim of this clinic is to show our top players how to train on their own and to expose our clubs coaching staffs to the coaching being provided at the top level of European Soccer. We recommend each club send at least one coach to see what Pepijn is doing and then bring the information back to your club to present to the other coaches. We are certain Coaches Education is the key to developing top players in our area. It is also the key to providing a stimulating, educational, soccer environment which will grab hold of your players and make them soccer players and fans for life. Please send at least one coach or send as many as you would like. For more information: http://english.psv.nl Topics Dominating the 1v1 Ronaldo, Zidane, Robben, Ronaldinho, and Robinho have something in common..... they can beat players by dribbling.... they dominate the 1v1! Attacking Moves Pepijn teaches moves to beat players in attacking situations. Each move or feint is named and taught to help you remember and practice them where the best players are made......at home! Moves for Possession A player needs to be able to keep the ball by dribbling while waiting for a team mates support. These moves to maintain possession are taught in series of moves. Cuts Cuts, change of direction, keeping the opponent off balance .... these are important skills necessary to dominate your opponent. Coordination A strong dribbler must be coordinated. This area is worked on throughout the week using dribbling and skill drills. Games - 1v1 The best way to educate a player to dominate the 1v1 is playing games. The players will be confronted with many different games putting them into 1v1 situations again and again..... Hello Soccer Coaches, Since I came in contact with the profession of coaching, I have specialized in the development of talent. Already in the beginning stage, I was totally obsessed with the work of Coerver. Everything started moving fast when I got the opportunity to do an internship at PSV. In my second season, Ricardo Moniz became the skills trainer of the club. I could not wish to for a better mentor to further develop myself as a trainer in the Coerver-philosophy. He has meant a lot for PSV and for all the talents. From the first day Ricardo came to work with PSV as skills trainer, I assisted him at all skills training sessions. During these sessions, I trained especially for my self. Furthermore I trained a minimum of two hours extra on all movements, combinations and variations at home per day to perfect my skills with both feet. The advantage of this is that I now know what it takes to develop as creative player. I am also bringing Jefta Bresser a PSV Youth Coach who played pro at Go Ahead Eagles and Heracles Alemo. Please Join us this winter in California. Pepijn Lijnders - Skills Coach for PSV Eindhoven |
