Rules and Standards for U9 and U10 Region 5

Please note  the link to the rules are below, but there is one rule that is not written down. That is we want everyone to use common sense for a common vision of creating fair and competitive games. Please do not move players from your other team down to the 2nd division, not play certain players or bend or break the rules to try to win a U9 and u10 game. Please look at the big picture and let’s make this another enjoyable year.

Region 5 Spring League

Region 5 is offering Spring league for U8-U9 teams. The cost is only $100 and all the games will be in our Region (District under old terminology). Remember that when we talk about Spring soccer we use last year’s age groups not this upcoming seasons age groups. For Example, U9 league for Spring is for teams that will be U10 in the Fall. We are talking about starting games in mid to late April and ending in late June or early July. Each team and club and design their games to fit their schedule as we have about 8-10 games over 12 weekends.
 
Many clubs were interested in 8v8 league for U8 (next year’s U9), but on a modified schedule in comparison to U9 (next year’s U10).
